Celebrate Bermuda’s kite-making tradition in a guided, hands-on session led by Keeping Culture founder Ardon Heyliger, covering the history of the island’s iconic kites and step-by-step construction from design through finishing touches.
What’s Included
All materials are provided, including:
- Kite frame
- Pre-cut tissue paper (ready for pasting)
- Elmer’s glue
- Yards of kite tail to prepare your kite for flight
- Culinary delights to enjoy during the workshop
Location and Timing
The Disk at The Loren; Sunday 29 March 2026; begins at 12:00. Plan for roughly 2 hours to complete your kite and enjoy the session.
