Bermuda Sandcastle Competition 2026
Celebrate the end of summer at the annual Bermuda Sandcastle Competition on Horseshoe Bay Beach — one of the island's most beloved traditions.
Teams and individuals compete across categories including children (12 and under), teenagers, families, adults, companies, and tourists. Prizes are awarded for Best on the Beach and category winners.
Watch incredible sand sculptures take shape on Bermuda's famous pink sand, from elaborate castles to creative creatures and abstract art. A perfect Labour Day weekend outing for the whole family.
The Bermuda Sandcastle competition is held on Labor Day weekend holiday every year. Founded by Nicky Gurret in 1995, it continues to be one of the islands favorite public events.
The competition is FREE to enter, and early signup is encouraged, as the competition is limited to only 40 teams.
