Legends of Jazz

The Loren's Legends of Jazz series brings live jazz to Maree Lounge, pairing intimate performances with crafted cocktails and elevated bites. The 2026 programme moves through classic vocal jazz, New Orleans swing, Coltrane-inspired listening-room sets, Great American classics, hip hop and neo-soul influences, Disney melodies, women-led standards, smooth jazz, and holiday favourites.

2026 schedule:

• July 23, 2026: Ella & Bubbles - An Ella Fitzgerald-inspired evening of upbeat jazz standards and playful scat rhythms.
• August 6, 2026: Satchmo Swing Social - A Louis Armstrong-inspired tribute bringing New Orleans swing and classic jazz favourites to Maree Lounge.
• August 20, 2026: Coltrane - Late Set - A John Coltrane-inspired listening-room set with expressive, extended jazz compositions.
• September 3, 2026: Great American Classics - A standards-led evening featuring Miles Davis favourites and classic repertoire performed by The Tino Martinez Quartet.
• September 17, 2026: Hip Hop & Neo Soul Jazz - A genre-blending set built around hip hop rhythms, neo-soul textures, and contemporary jazz.
• October 15, 2026: Disney Jazz - A nostalgic programme recasting familiar Disney melodies through jazz.
• October 29, 2026: Women in Jazz - An intimate performance of standards and favourites associated with iconic women in jazz.
• November 26, 2026: R&B & Smooth Jazz - A smooth evening of silky melodies, soulful rhythms, and contemporary jazz flair.
• December 2, 2026: Christmas Jazz - A holiday set where Christmas favourites are reimagined through jazz.

Maree Lounge & Bar opens at 5:00 PM, with performances from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
