Newport Bermuda Race 2026

The 54th Newport Bermuda Race — one of the oldest and most prestigious ocean races in the world. Since 1906, this iconic 636-nautical-mile bluewater classic has challenged sailors on the course from Newport, Rhode Island to St David's Lighthouse, Bermuda.

The biennial race draws 150+ boats and thousands of sailors, navigating the Gulf Stream and open Atlantic. The 2026 edition marks over a century of offshore racing tradition.

Finishing boats are welcomed at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club with legendary Bermuda hospitality, prizegiving ceremonies, and a week of celebrations on the island.
