Better Would is an art installation by Kimberley Fisher, featuring photography by Ish Yakub Corday and Blair Raughley Masters, presented in the Rick Faries Gallery at the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art. This exhibition explores collaborative art-making, focusing on the processes of transmission and translation to create a multi-authored visual language. Fisher, a visual artist, works with Yakub Corday (visual storyteller and writer) and Masters (photographer) to examine the tensions between care—both for oneself and for others—and obligation. The work is realized through cyanotype collages, which are developed in response to written passages or photographic creative direction, engaging with the rituals and performances of care. The exhibition challenges the notion of solo authorship by collaging ideas, materials, and production methods, resulting in a conceptually and materially layered body of work.
