Family Workshop: Flow with Nico
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore two popular acrylic pour painting techniques: the marble pour and the Dutch pour. Both methods begin with thinned acrylic paint on canvas, but diverge in their creative process—one uses a marble to manipulate the paint, while the other employs a hairdryer to achieve unique effects. Attendees will select their own color palettes for each painting and are encouraged to bring inspirational images.
Facilitator: Nico Bean, a 16-year-old artist and owner of Flow by Nico, will lead the session. Nico has spent three years developing his acrylic pour techniques, producing custom paintings, ornaments, and a line of products featuring his artwork. His work has been exhibited in juried shows at the Bermuda Society of Arts.
