Get acquainted with the Print Shop setup, tools, and equipment in a beginner-friendly, hands-on session designed for novice printmakers or anyone seeking a refresher. This workshop (or similar experience) is a prerequisite to access the monthly Print Shop sessions.
What you’ll learn
- Basics of using carving tools, printing blocks, and inks
- Operation of the block printing press and the etching press
- Practical guidance to confidently start your own printmaking projects
Format and schedule
- Two-hour, instructor-led workshop with guided practice
- After completing this session, you can join the Print Shop on the last Wednesday of each month, with artist facilitators available to support independent projects

Maximum of 12 participants to ensure individualized attention
